Scott Miller
Owner
Scott Miller is a Florida native, moving to Fort Pierce after graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Building Construction. Scott began working for a well-known local contractor and enjoyed utilizing the values of professionalism, honest, and integrity, traits he still upholds today.
Broadening his horizons, Scott went to work for a regional construction company as the Project Manager working with Indian River State College, St. Lucie County School Board, Orange County School Board, and Orange County Courts & Corrections. It was during this time that he honed his business skills and learned best practices for efficient operations.
Scott's next position as a nationwide contractor for the vice president for the Southern division was enlightening and helped to expand his experience in the healthcare renovations industry and high-end residential construction markets.
After close to a decade working and gaining experience, Scott formed Facilities Construction. He proudly applied his knowledge towards running a commercial renovations and construction company which holds its customers in high regard, delivering the quality of work they deserve and desire in a timely and efficient manner.
Since starting Facilities Construction, Scott has expanded his vision to meeting or exceeding customers' expectations by assuring contract compliance and timely scheduling. Through inspections, knowledgeable subcontractors, and superior materials, this vision is able to come to fruition in reaching project goals.
In an effort to continue his education and broadening his community involvement, Scott has received many State of Florida licenses and federal certifications. He also participates with many local service organizations which enabled him to provide better service to the community in which he lives.
Mark Staley
General Field Superintendent / Manager
Mark joined Facilities Construction in 2004, and has worked tirelessly as the interface between the office and all field operations. His work includes handling acute care renovations ranging from equipment change outs (MRI, CT, Cath Labs, X - Rays) to complete wing renovations. He also coordinated the efforts on behalf of Facilities Construction while serving as the general contractor for the CAT 5 Window replacement project, a five-story hospital, trim/finish contractors, nursing, staff and housekeeping operations. Mark coordinated the replacement of a 2,000 KW generator with a new hardened building in less than 60 days. "We have never missed an inspection or had comments on our work from ACHA. I am honored to be a part of a team that has such a strong reputation." Mark's previous work experience also includes serving as the general superintendent for a national company, project superintendant for a regional company, and as a concrete and masonry subcontractor.
Cindy Trefelner
Office Manager
Cindy has proudly served as the office manager for Facilities Construction in Florida since 2006. She is a Fort Pierce native and has an extensive background in construction, originating from a family-owned business. In 1992, she became the membership director for the Treasure Coast Builders Association, and also served as the staff chairwoman for the Parade of Homes. Cindy retired from TCBA in 2005, and returned to the work force in 2006, eager to share her knowledge and professionalism with those in the construction industry.
